Video appears to show one of the suspects being tackled by Kansas City Chiefs fans who were in attendance for the parade.


Minutes after the Kansas City Chiefs wrapped up their Super Bowl 58 victory parade, shots rang out near Union Station. The Kansas City Police confirmed 8-10 shooting victims, with multiple children being treated at Children’s Mercy Hospital.

According to police, two armed people were detained for more information.

“We need people to exit the area as quickly and safely as possible and avoid the parking garage in order to facilitate treatment of shooting victims,” police said in a statement, via ABC News. “Many of you have footage of many officers securing union station, they are working to provide for the safety of everyone inside union station and expedite care of those injured.”
