This is another simple main dish that doesn’t take much time to prepare. You’ll need an unbaked pie shell. Other than lining your quiche pan, you’ll just chop onion, brown the ground beef and onion and shred the cheese before making a sauce to mix through the cooked meat mixture, pouring into that waiting pan and topping with cheese.

Tips for Making the Ultimate Quiche

Though you can use your favorite pie crust recipe or buy prepared pie shells, I suggest trying my healthy oil pie crust recipe. Honestly, it is easy, foolproof and the only one that I use. It also is less expensive than buying a package of unbaked pie shells from your supermarket. You can canola oil, but olive oil makes an even better flaky crust.

I use grass-fed ground beef because it is a healthier choice and honestly saves money because there is hardly any grease that you need to drain after browning it. I dare you to try grass-fed ground beef and compare the difference of how much grease regular lean ground beef leaves behind from the supermarket. You will notice that you won’t be pouring a lot of your money from beef fat in the garbage when switching to grass-fed beef.

To save even more time, take out all the ingredients and equipment needed before starting helps speed up cooking. Organization will prevent you hunting for them later.

The type of Cheddar cheese for this quiche does not matter. But we love the taste of sharp Cheddar and use that one most in my recipes.

Seriously, readers, if you want to taste something scrumptious then give my cheeseburger quiche a try. Trust me, but I am confident that you and your entire family will love it.

Cheeseburger Quiche, Cut Piece

Easy and Delicious Cheeseburger Quiche

1 unbaked pie shell (my oil pie crust recipe)
1 lb. ground beef
½ medium onion, finely chopped
3 tablespoons of olive oil
3 tablespoons of flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup of milk
1 large egg
1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
2 ½ cups of Cheddar cheese (shredded)

Prepare the pie crust to line your well-greased quiche dish.

Brown the ground beef in the olive oil and drain off any excess fat.

Stir in the chopped onion and saute until golden brown.

Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the flour to coat the beef and onions.

Return the skillet and cook the rawness out of the flour for about one or two minutes.

Take the skillet off the heat while making the sauce to incorporate.

In a mixing bowl, pour the milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, and one and one-fourth cups of the shredded cheese and beat until well combined.

Add the liquid mixture to the ground beef mixture and pour into the unbaked pie crust that you lined in your well-greased quiche dish.

Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.

Bake in a 425-degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes, depending on how your oven is regulated.

Test with a slender knife or cake tester to see if anything sticks for determining doneness.

ENJOY!
