There’s still a long wait until we reach the college football season, but the hiring of Deion Sanders at Colorado is already making waves in the sports betting world.
In fact, there has only been five teams that have received more bets at Caesars Sportsbook to win the National Championship.
That’s right. Only LSU, Georgia, Alabama, Michigan, and Ohio State has been bet on more to win the National Championship for the upcoming season. All five of those teams have significantly shorter odds than Colorado, who comes in at +200000 (200/1) to win it all.

Sure, it might be fun to follow along with Colorado and see how well Deion Sanders does as their head coach, but I would strongly recommend betting on them to win the National Championship.
In case you didn’t already know, the Buffaloes went 1-11 last season. They haven’t had a winning season, outside of the shortened 2020 campaign, since 2016 when they went 10-4 and eventually lost in the Alamo Bowl.
Even if you believe that Deion will bring success to the program, it’s not going to come quickly. I don’t care who he brings in as a recruit.
Let’s sit back and see how his first season goes. With that being said, the betting public is loving the Buffaloes this season, for better or for worse.
