Sour Cream Coffee Cake in Pan

Sour Cream Coffee Cake Recipe

1 cup of sour cream
2 large eggs
1 ½ cups flour
1 cup of sugar
2 teaspoons of baking powder, leveled
½ teaspoons of baking soda, leveled
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Crumb Topping:

1/4 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of flour
2 tablespoons of butter
½ teaspoons of cinnamon

In your mixing bowl, beat together the sour cream, vanilla and eggs.

In another mixing bowl, sift the flour. Now sift the flour again along with the sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Add the sifted ingredients to the creamed mixture and beat until the batter is smooth.

Pour into a lightly greased baking pan about an 8″ x 10″-inch size.

Bake in a 350-degree oven for about 25-30 minutes, depending on how your oven is regulated.

Test with a tooth pick, slender knife or cake tester to see if anything sticks will determine doneness.

While this cake is still warm, top with the crumb topping.

To Make the Crumb Topping:

Just mix the ingredients together, rubbing the butter with the sugar, flour and cinnamon until coarse crumbs form.
