Melissa Gorga is setting the record straight in regard to her thoughts on Kyle Richards and her alleged use of Ozempic, which the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has vehemently denied.
After Kyle appeared to shade the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member with a comment shared to her Instagram page, Melissa took to her Instagram Story, where she asked, “What’s happening in the press?!!” She then denied accusing Kyle of using the diabetes medication to lose weight.
“Guys! Don’t believe the BS,” Melissa began in her February 28 post. “I never said [Kyle Richards] was on Ozempic! I said she looks so amazing that I thought she was!! But she has totally confirmed that she’s not! The girl is working for it. Give the lady some credit!”
“We are laughing at all of this! We are good,” she added of where she and Kyle stand today.
Melissa’s post came just over a day after Kyle responded to a critic on Instagram who accused her of having an “Ozempic body” and claimed her fellow Real Housewives “told on [her].”
“This is not true,” Kyle replied. “MY fellow Housewives never said such a thing. Another housewife from a different franchise aka Melissa stated she assumed I was but then texted an apology to me.”
As RHONJ fans may recall, Melissa appeared on an episode of Jeff Lewis‘ SiriusXM radio, Jeff Lewis Live, in January, where she admitted to assuming Kyle was using the drug.
“I’m not gonna lie, when I first saw her, I was like, ‘Ooh she’s taking that stuff,’” she said at the time. “And then, when she [denied it], I’m like, ‘Oh OK maybe not.’ You know, I don’t know. I didn’t even text her and ask her.”
Meanwhile, Jeff himself remained unconvinced that Kyle had lost weight naturally.
“I think what she did is probably went off of it to be like, ‘I’m not on it!’ So, she’s not technically lying,” he said. “I love her, but it’s not just not drinking since July – I mean, come on.”
During an interview with Extra in February, Kyle confessed that she was frustrated by the ongoing Ozempic rumors, saying that she “cannot stand” when people speculate.
“People that know me know that I’m up every day like 5:30, 6 a.m. the latest … I’m in the gym for two hours. I really put a lot of effort into my diet and exercise and taking care of myself,” she revealed.
