Thailand Futures Exchange PCL (TFEX) awarded five derivatives brokers with the “TFEX Best Award 2023”, comprising the “TFEX Best Award of Honor” and the “Best of the Year”, in recognition of their excellence in trading, servicing and expanding customer base, as well as market maker performance.
The awards include the “TFEX Best Award of Honor” which is a prestigious award for companies ranked number one in the same category for 3 consecutive years, and the annual outstanding awards (Best of 2023) in various categories.
These cover services for trading and expanding individual client base, trading of securities companies both overall and proprietary trading, as well as risk management. There are a total of 5 award recipients, including MTSGF, PI, KGI, YUANTA, and KTX.
The “TFEX Best Award of Honor” is an honorary award for companies that have been able to maintain excellence and hold the number one position in any aspect continuously for 3 years or more. This year, the award is presented to 3 companies:
- MTS Gold Futures Company Limited (MTSGF) has maintained excellence in the Market Maker Best Performance category or as the leading Market Maker since 2018-2023.
- Phatra Securities Public Company Limited (PI) has maintained excellence as the Active Agent, ranking number one since 2020-2023.
- KGI Securities (Thailand) Public Company Limited (KGI) has maintained excellence as the Most Active House, ranking number one since 2021-2023.
The “Most Active House” award is presented to member companies with high trading volumes of derivatives, and it is awarded to Phatra Securities Public Company Limited (PI).
The “Active Agent” award is presented to member companies with high trading volumes of derivatives for retail clients, and it is awarded to Yuanta Securities (Thailand) Company Limited (YUANTA).
The “Popular Agent” award is presented to member companies that have excelled in expanding the base of new investors in TFEX, and it is awarded to Krungthai Ex-Spring Securities Company Limited (KTX).
The “Active Prop-Trading” award is presented to member companies with high transaction volumes in the proprietary trading account, and it is awarded to KGI Securities (Thailand) Public Company Limited (KGI).
These awards highlight the achievements of MTSGF, PI, KGI, YUANTA, and KTX in the futures industry and their contributions to the growth and development of the TFEX market.
