The new Smithtown franchise is owned and operated by Kevin Gormley, a former law enforcement officer, who will serve the Smithtown, Commack and East Northport communities.

“I am thrilled to join The Brothers Gutters family and bring our exceptional services to Smithtown and the surrounding areas,” Gormley said in a company statement. “Our focus on customer service, craftsmanship, and strong work ethic will ensure that our clients receive the best possible experience.”

Founded in 1999 by former teacher Ken Parsons, the gutter contracting company was originally known as Waterfall Seamless Gutters. A few years later, Parsons was joined by his brother Ryan and in 2009 the brothers renamed the company The Brothers that just do Gutters.

The all-in cost to open a Brothers that just do Gutters franchise ranges from $143,750 to $205,000.

“We are delighted to welcome Kevin Gormley to our team as the owner of The Brothers that just do Gutters in Smithtown,” Brand President Danny Horboychuk said in the statement. “His dedication to excellence and community service aligns perfectly with our brand values, and we are confident that he will lead his team to great success.”

The Brothers that just do Gutters is part of the Evive Brands family of companies, which also includes Executive Home Care, Assisted Living Locators and Grasons, an estate sales and business liquidation firm.
